Investigator recruitment

The McDonnell Pediatric Cancer Center (MPCC) at Washington University is pleased to invite applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level. We are seeking junior faculty to develop research programs focused on underlying mechanisms of pediatric cancer formation and/or new treatment modalities. Areas of emphasis include pediatric cancer modeling, relationships between developmental biology and cancer initiation, gene regulation and drug development, though interest in any area of pediatric cancer research is welcome. Candidates should have MD, PhD or equivalent degrees and should demonstrate aptitude to develop and direct an independently-funded research program.

Washington University offers a highly collaborative environment and exceptional core facilities. MPCC investigators will join the Department of Pediatrics as part of the Division of Pediatric Hematology & Oncology. They will receive substantial start-up funds as well as seven years of ongoing research support.
